Andrew Dixon & Company, on behalf of a retained client, announces the acquisition of Unit 3, Hortonwood 45, Telford. The newly constructed building extending to approximately 126,500 square feet (11,751 square metres) with a 2.5m eaves height clearance and multiple dock levellers, was acquired on a freehold basis with vacant possession by a Shropshire-based specialist packaging company.
Andrew Dixon, who handled the transaction with the estate developers, commented "We undertook a thorough review of the available opportunities for freehold acquisition in Telford and quickly centred our interest upon this building due to its good quality specification and immediate availability. Our clients are delighted, and this multi-million pound investment, which will bring a host of jobs to the town, is very welcome. Andrew Dixon & Company transacted nearly 300,000 square feet of industrial space in December 2025 alone, which supports the view that Telford is a beacon of economic development within the greater Midlands area. Further announcements will be made on several large transactions shortly".
